Lenovo Ideapad 330s-15ARR Compatible SSD

2019-03-22, 22:15 PM

Hi to all, i´m planning to upgrade my 330s with a M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD but sadly the ones recommended on the maintenance manual are not easy to get in my country.

The ones that i can get here are:

https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-M-2-PCIe-256GB-GP-GSM2NE8256GNTD/dp/B07JG5MBBP

https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-SA1000M8-240G-Internal-Performance/dp/B07BMXS6SH

https://www.amazon.com/Inland-Professional-256GB-Internal-Solid/dp/B07D4QJH6D

Has anyone used one of the above or another one that is different from the ones found on the manual?

What has been your experience with them like?

Thanks.

When it comes to m.2 upgrades, make sure the drive you're purchasing have both the right connector and length. I'm not aware of which m.2 connector the 330s has so make sure its the right one since there are a few B&M for SATA and M, B, and E for NVME drives. again make sure the drive falls within the length limit otherwise it wont fit right or at all. As long as those conditions are met, any m.2 ssd will work with the device, so find one with decent price:performance ratios, cheers mate
