I have my laptob for about a year now and not too long ago, my usb ports except for one suddenly stopped working. They give power to the devices, but there is no detection towards the devices. I checked the device manager and there are no yellow exclamation marks. The "allow windows to turn off device" feature is also turned off in device manager. The disable selected sespend registry is on (1) and my power management settings is set that it wont turn off my usb's and as well my drivers are up to date and i have no virusses on my pc (I scanned three times with iobit malware fighter pro). Yet all my usb's exept for one usb does not work.
Please help, i have been having this problem for weeks.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
You could try to download Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page. Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.
Also, you could try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
