I'm about to buy a Lenovo IdeaPad 510 15 80SV00L1HV, and i have read that it is possible to upgrade to Memory (RAM) up to 12 GB. My question is that if i do it at home, not at a service, do i lost the warranty, or it is possible to upgrade the RAM at home, while keeping the warranty. I really don't want to lose the warranty, but 4GB RAM is not enough for me and i know that it is not hard to do it at home.
Thanks for the answers.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Similar to this discussion, you have the option to maximize your current RAM (4 GB soldered on the motherboard) to 12GB max by adding 8GB PC4-17000 2133MHz DDR4 as indicated in the product specification and hardware manual (page26). Steps are shown here on page 37 that you can review so that you can do it at home.
Hope this help answer your query.
