My lenovo is great. I love it, it is really fast and works smoothly. BUT.... when it is on battery and the battery level reaches 30%, the CPU automatically goes from 3.2GHz (single core), to 0.8GHz (single core). The Power management is always to High Performance. The only solution is to make my Windows 7 to sleep and then to wake it up. If I plug the AC - it's ok, regardless of the battery - always works fine.
Do you have any idea, why that happens and mostly how to fix it???

I have Lenovo Ideapad 700-17ISK with inel core i7 6700HQ and have the same problem. My cpu stack at ~800mhz after battery level drops under 30% (only Battery Mode, when AC problems seems not occuring). The problem has been since bought laptop. During this time i've installed few BIOS (currently i have - E5CN61WW version) updates and problem is still occuring.

Thanka to Mat3o - the problem has been solved. When your Ideapad 700 is on battery and it reaches 30%, the CPU goes to 800MHz. You just need to start the software ThrottleStop with BD PROCHOT checkbox disabled and the CPU will go back to 3200MHz (on a single core).
Thank you very much, Mat3o !
