Lenovo Ideapad 700-15isk very slow boot and high latency

Hey guys, I just got a new Ideapad 700-15isk with i7-6700hq, 8GB RAM and 1TB 5400rpm hdd, installed Windows 7 64-bit and I get really slow boot-ups, of about 2-3 minutes and I also have very high latencies (usign LatencyMon), mostly coming from the network, wireless adapter and video card driver.

I know that I should not expect a 10 second boot-up from a HDD, but I think that 1 minute should be a decent time.

I have tried the following:

-Upgrade from Win7 to Win10(with keeping all my win7 data, now I am currently on Win10)

-Disk defragmentation

-Memtest86(no errors)

I am also planning on doing a clean Windows 10 install.

Do you know what scans I should perform or ways to find the source of the problems?

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 700-15isk very slow boot and high latency

Hello, Shashi, and thanks for your response.

Firstly, I forgot to mention in the original post that I have tried updating the BIOS. Also, when I have updated(this happend about a week ago) the BIOS I was still on Win7 and couldn't boot to it so I had to change boot from UEFI to Legacy support.

The second link about Latency is about Intel WLAN, while my laptop has Realtek and it also adresses to win8/8.1 users, and I mentioned that I'm running Win10.

Maybe too many unnecessary Windows Services running. type and run %temp% in command prompt...try this delete all the files.

Also, are you facing same issue when logging from safe mode?

Update us how it goes.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 700-15isk very slow boot and high latency

Temp folder had about 330mb size. I've deleted it and it's the same, 2 min and 30-40 sec until I can finally use my laptop.

In minimal safe mode, I can use it in 1 min and 20 sec.

EDIT: I have enabled Boot log and saw the following drivers that didn't load

BOOTLOG_NOT_LOADED \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\cdrom.sys

BOOTLOG_NOT_LOADED \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\dxgkrnl.sys - 5 times

BOOTLOG_NOT_LOADED \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\gzflt.sys

BOOTLOG_NOT_LOADED \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\trufos.sys

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
