I just got the Ideapad 700 less than 2 week ago, and I'd been plagued by the blackscreen issue. It'll come by at a sudden and I don't know what triggered it.
The computer would just show a blank black screen and the only way out of it was a hard reboot.
I'd looked into the forum and saw that one of the solution suggested was to update the BIOS driver. I'd downloaded and installed the newest BIOS and didn't experience any problem. But 2 days later, the blackscreen problem appeared again.
Also, any idea on how to make the keyboard more responsive? It's quite lacking compared to my old Thinkpad. Didn't recognized when I'd typed etc.
