Lenovo Ideapad 700 boot menu problem

Hello,

i just bought a Lenovo Ideapad 700-15Isk with an additional 250gb ssd. So, i used a flash drive to install win 10, but then when i was updating the drivers, downloading them from the Lenovo support site, after one of them was updated the laptop restarted and then the boou menu appeared. I pressed to boot from the ssd, but nothing, a black screen and then back to the boot menu. I tried with every other option LANs, win flash drive, the other 1tb hdd but nothing worked. How can i fix this?

Thank you.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 700 boot menu problem

Okay, until know i have used apple laptops only, so i havent much experience with such issues. I read something common here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-IdeaPad-100-305-500-Edge/Ideapad-700-15ISK-boot-menu-problem/m-p...

so can someone tell how to reset the bios to its default settings.

Lenovo supporters, please help me fix that issue cause i already havent used this laptop for a week... Smiley Sad

The following might work:

(1) Start with the laptop powered off.

(2) Using a paperclip (or similar) press the "Novo" button.

(3) On the "Novo Button Menu", select "BIOS".

(4) In the BIOS, on the last tab select "Reset to defaults".

(5) Exit the BIOS saving the changes.

(6) Power off the laptop.

(7) Repeat steps (1) to (3) to re-enter the BIOS.

(8) On the tab that shows the boot devices, re-order the devices so that the SSD is first.

(9) Exit the BIOS saving the changes.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 700 boot menu problem

What @Ahmed_diaa says helped. The windows loaded, so can i leave it like that, should i consider the problem for fixed?

And also a new one.

When i go in the This PC, i can see only C/ which is the 256gb ssd. What about the other 1tb hdd?

Thank you

I have the same problem.

Could you tell me how can I open the bios manager? I've tried with an usb stick, but it didn't work.
