Lenovo Ideapad Audio Issue

I'm having issues with audio on my Lenovo ideapad 320S14IKB. When I plug in headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack, everything works fine; however, when I unplug the headphones and plug them back in I can't get any sound to come through them. The only workaround I have found is shutting down the laptop with the headphones unplugged, and plugging them in one it had rebooted. If I restart the laptop, the problem doesn't go away. I uninstalled the Dolby bloatware thinking that it was the cause but the problem still persists. Any ideas on what it could be?

Edit: I have tried downloading my model's audio and BIOS drivers and neither has worked.

Edit 2: Solved problem (see reply for details)

Solved

I managed to solve the promblem by completely uninstalling all audio drivers , restarting, and using the generic audio drivers.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
