Hi guys, I just bought the ideapad s530 model: 81J7004XMH and im very happy with it. Except now I would like to know if I can use the USB 3.0 for video-output. I was thinking of buying an usb 3.0 to hdmi/displayport cable, will this work? I have also read a lot about people saying the usb c doesnt support video output but on the specifications it says: one USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 (with the function of DP), --> does this mean i can use a usb c to displayport cable and get video output from it to connect a 2nd monitor. I would love to hear before i make a purchase.

The S530-13IWl and the S530-13IML both support the Displayport Alt Mode over Type-C based on their spec sheet. So, no Power Delivery, but video output.
