Lenovo ideapad 100-15IBY won't start at all

My computer lenovo ideapad 100-15IBY won't  start. The power status LED flashes for a short time but nothing  happens - no HDD, no display.

I follow all instructions and repeated for many times as i found it in some topics :

1: I  Remove the AC adapter plug.

2: Remove the battery.

3: Press the power button for about 30 seconds. This will clear the capacitors.

4: Insert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

5: Press the power button

 but i have nothing,  can you helping me please eny iedias !!! What I do?

Welcome to the Community Forums.


We are hoping that this is just a display issue so that if you connect it to an external monitor then display should work.


Pressing the caps lock button should also show the indicator alongside with the power and battery. If it doesn't, then we expect a possible No Post issue (failed power on self test).


The harwdare manual does offer power checkout guide here in page 21. Here we can check if the ac charger is ok so it would still leaves us with the motherboard, CPU, memory to isolate.


You can try reseating the ram (maybe just one on the available slot) and restarting the machine back.


Here I would suggest getting hold of tech support for in-warranty repair.
