Re: Lenovo ideapad 110-15IBR Hard disk not detected

Hi there, Magnum                   -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

You can start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 20 seconds.

You can try to reset the BIOS default and check if BIOS will detect the harddrive.

It may be the the harddrive itself is bad, so if you have another harddrive to test it with just to islate if BIOS would detect another harddrive.

Hope you manage to abck up your data, you may slave the harddrive in an enclosure and test it on another pc to diagnose its integrity .

Update us how it goes.

Re: Lenovo ideapad 110-15IBR Hard disk not detected

I am having the same problem, DVD rom and hard disk not dectected in BIOS. But detected when connected to the usb port. I checked all

to ensures  it is seating correctly, all screws are in place, I was  able to revive Windows 10 by using the usb port to connect the hard disk.

Placing hard disk to its position windows 10 would not start.
