Re: Lenovo ideapad 320 display

Have you tried pressing and holding the Power button down for more than 10 seconds to force the laptop to switch off ?

Re: Lenovo ideapad 320 display

If you can see the Lenovo splash image and the windows startup sequence behind the 'blue & purple' veil, then I'm afraid it sounds like there is a hardware fault.   It could be defective LCD panel, motherboard fault, or may be a problem with the internal cable which connects the motherboard to the back of the LCD panel.

If you connect the laptop to an external monitor and you see a perfect picture, then it further confirms my thoughts the fault lies with the LCD panel or the cable to the panel.
