Re: Lenovo ideapad 320 takes too much time to charge the laptop

Some things to check:

charger output volts/amps is to spec (with meter)

connection of charger plug/socket (is socket on laptop MB good?)

Is charger original factory or aftermarket replacement? (better off using factory if possible)

condition of battery -

connection of battery to MB

how old/how many charge/discharge cycles

is it original/factory battery or aftermarket replacement? (same-better off with factory)

Some of these checks require opening of case and inspecting connections of components to/on motherboard, but I would say the first place to look is charger output/plug/connections.

Also -

What windows ver are you running? (doing a clean non-bloatware install from a win iso can fix alot of bloatware related problems)

Has it only recently started doing this or has it always?

Re: Lenovo ideapad 320 takes too much time to charge the laptop

Make sure the tablet is fully powered off while charging. Use the OEM USB cable and power adaptor. If the slate does not detect the right cable/power brick it may go into a fully USB-compliant mode drawing only 0.5 Watts and it means a slow, very slow, charging process that, in fact, can last up to twenty hours.

If nothing works, buy a dock.

Re: Lenovo ideapad 320 takes too much time to charge the laptop

When did you purchase it? Any chance for a return?

Also, are you sure the charger is good? (does the charge light come on when you plug it in) Any way to get a replacement charger if you can't test it?

Have you done anything with/checked battery settings?

If you download a win10 ISO, make sure you get it straight from the microsoft website. Any other location you are taking your chances.

Which ideapad 320 is it (model no.)?
