I've been having a laggy experience when I try to play some games and upon checking task manager, I saw that the games were not using the dedicated gpu at all. Is there any way I can force the applications to use the dedicated amd gpu? Also, the applications are not showing up in the "Recent Applications" or "Running Applications" from the Radeon Settings.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
If you have dual graphics, onboard Intel and AMD, here is an article with steps on how to switch graphics. https://support.lenovo.com/us/th/solutions/ht078706

I already have switchable graphics on but the problem is some games actually do switch and use the dedicated gpu but on other games, it doesn't hence the laggy game experience on other games.
I also tried adding the game to radeon settings and set it to high performance but still the same.

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 330s-14IKB81F4. Just recently bought and the games I have tried so far are Dragonsaga (where gpu isn't used) and Soul Worker (gpu kicks in here). I haven't got time to try it on other games yet.

Thanks for sending those details. Could you try to set the AMD Radeon as the default graphics card? Here's how: https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/DH-017.aspx#SGApplication
Also, you could try optimizing the game profile. You may follow the steps here:https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-012
Once everything is done, observe the performance and let it us know hot it goes.
