Hi sirs. i have a problem with frequencies, recently i acquires an Lenovo IdeaPad 320-15IKB (7200U, 940MX, FHD), the problem it's have an internal memory ddr4 2133 mhz 4gb. The memory it's on board "solded" and it's frequency is 2133 . Aditionally i bought a 8gb of ram and 2133 mhz frec. memory.
But this is not a problem. ¿Right? So, it's not the end of this beautifull history. The problem it's when i recibed the memory, i get a so-dim with 8gb of ram and 2400 mhz frec., yes, my sender send a diferent frequency memory.
So finally, the question it's. ¿What can i do? ¿Can i disable on-board memory? ¿ The laptop can work with this two tipes of frec.? ¿Or i can't do anything now and try to use that memory as a souvenier?
Thank y 4 wachin

It's work perfect! No i´m having 12 gigs of ram . The memory underclock to 2133 and the system work perfect with both now. I realliced that windows 10 with visual s 2017 + opera(only 1 page)+ antiv + Windows Paint take almost 5 gigs of ram .
Next upgrade will be a ssd. Well the disk it's incoming.
Just don't want to keep this thread alive, but.. i just wanted to know if i can install de SO in the removable slot.
This is the ram http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/ct8g4dfs824a
Tanks Lenovo team to make this notebook to easy to manipulate de hardware!!

Hello! I have the same laptop and i want to extend my memory as well but i looked up on crucial where i was informed about my memory and slot cap.(20Gb) and since i have only 1 slot and it says the installed memory is 4 gb which is not removable, im not sure about the safety of extending memory for example with an 8gb ddr4...

(I write you in Spanish because your Windows is in Spanish )
quería preguntarte si luego del upgrade de la memoria, el desempeño de la notebook mejoró. Mi duda surge a partir de ver que en el screenshot del taskManager el uso del disco se mantiene al 100% y un +/-30% de CPU

Since you said this might work; if I purchase the following photo ^, how might I be able to set it up properly without damaging any part of my laptop.
