Move my current windows 10 to new ssd.

I want to upgrade the ssd on my Lenovo 110s-11IBR 80WG. How do I move my Windows 10 onto it?

Re: Move my current windows 10 to new ssd.

Create a recovery media from existing Windows 10 installation and use it to restore OS on new disk. How to do it:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026852/windows-create-a-recovery-drive

You can also use a Windows 10 Media Creation tool to download installation image and create installation media:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Alternatively you can clone your existing disk. Personally, I don't use these applications, but I'm sure that other users will advice you, which app will be best suited to this task.

You can apply cloning software like AOMEI Backupper to move windows 10 to new disk.

Re: Move my current windows 10 to new ssd.

Option 1 does not work because from the 'Recovery USB' there is no option to choose the new SSD. It automatically restores to the original 32G.

Option 2 does not work because if you are trying to do this it is probably because you are low or out of space. And when trying to create a usb install media i get an low space error !!
