My Ideapad doesn't have a CD/DVD drive

My lenovo ideapad 12os-14iap doesn't have a CD/DVD drive so, how do I watch my DVD's and how do I download my CD's onto Itunes?

Get an external Blu-Ray drive. It'll play BDs, DVDs and CDs and read ROM discs. If you don't need BD, external DVD read/writers sell for thirty bucks or less. 

 

I keep one in my go-bag, though rarely use it. Everything's streamable, anymore.

Thanks for your help so far. Will I need anything with it? i.e a certain HDMI or a specific movie player on my laptop like an app? What would you recommend?

I believe most of them come with at least a trial version of player software. I don't have a recommendation as I haven't played a physical disc through a PC in a very long time. I think the player software I use is some ten versions old. The external drive in my go-bag is there mostly for legacy software reinstallation or restoring from secondary backups. My in-flight entertainment is usually something I've downloaded onto the laptop's hard drive just for that trip.
