I have the same problem. It is very sporadic. Sometimes it turns on fine and sometimes there is no way I can get it to turn on. Sometimes it gets stuck on the sign in screen for a long time. Everything seems like it moves in slow motion. The cursor often gets stuck and I can't do anything. I keep going back to my 4 year old Lenovo to do things because I get stuck with Flex 5. So frustrating.

Welcome to the community forums.
Is there a power light indicator on the laptop when you try to turn it on? Were you able to try using other compatible charger on the laptop? Could you try to perform a Power Drain on the laptop and check if it will turn on? You can follow the steps below.
1. Shut down the laptop
2. Unplug the charger
3. Press and hold the Power Button for 10-15 seconds.
4. Reconnect the charger and turn on the laptop.
Let us know how it goes.

if you mean just turn off and on.. i already did that everytime my display cannot turn on..
open and close the lid, or randomly press keyboard just to make my dipslay on. sometimes when i use the fingerprint, my display magically on.
but it doesn't solve the fundamental problem: the display sometimes doesnt respon. how can i fix that?
driver update: i already do that.

If the laptop is still won't power on after performing those steps, this would indicate that there could be some internal hardware components that needs to be check by a technician. It would be best to reach our Customer Care for repair options. You could check the number to call for your country in this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/supportphonelist .
