My mew flex 5 is dead and how do I make use of my warranty?


I received my laptop as requested in excellent shape. Two days ago, I smelt burning plastic coming out of the machine and it no longer comes on. I registered for my warranty and have more than 200 days left.

Thing is, I'm in school out of the US and want it fixed and looked at.  What do I do?

Please help. Thanks so much!

PS: Nothing ever happened to the laptop. It never fell, over heated or made any weird noise. It just stopped working after the smell came out.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Make sure you don`t charge the unit or attempt to use to prevent further damage to it and potential damage to yourself.


Just simply get in touch with your local Lenovo support line, and request a repair, they should be able to help you out:
