Re: Need Drivers for Keyboard and Touch Pad ideapad 100s 11IBY

Hi there,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

As I understand that you are facing issue with Keyboard & Touchpad not working in your Ideapad  100s-11IBY

First to try to release static power from system by following this:

  • Disconnect AC adapter.from system & external peripherals
  • Press and hold down the power button for 15 seconds then release it.
  • Connect the AC adapter/ Try on battery mode as well
  • Turn on your laptop & check

You can also try updating the latest BIOS

I hope the above information helps.
Please feel free to post in Lenovo Community Forums if you have any further queries!

Regards,

Prabhansh

Re: Need Drivers for Keyboard and Touch Pad ideapad 100s 11IBY

Thanks for the reply, I have formated the harddrive and deleted all partitions including the recovery partition. I have then done a full reinstall of windows home 10 32 bit and this is why the keyboard and touchpad drivers are missing.

I have upgraded the bios and this has had no affect on the keyboard or touchpad drivers

Where can I download the drivers for the keyboard and touchpad from ?

Re: Need Drivers for Keyboard and Touch Pad ideapad 100s 11IBY

Hi again,

You have mentioned that Keyboard works fine in BIOS mode & also I'll like to add that it doesn't require driver to work.

And for Touchpad if possible can you help me with Device Manager>Mice & Other Pointing devices snaps.

What about Static power release have you tried or not?

Regards,

Prabhansh

Thanks again, in device manager the touchpad and keyboard are not listed.

I will try the static power release again now

Re: Need Drivers for Keyboard and Touch Pad ideapad 100s 11IBY

I have the same problem and even worse...

On February 17, 2017 after I clicked on update and restart button, on the next bood, I got no audio, no touchpad and no keyboard. Also these devices are not listed under Device Manager. But there is a yellow exclamation mark next to each Intel Atom Processor... icon which there are a total of five of them. And also there is an Unknown Device.

I tried Uninstalling, Updating, Disabling and Enabling these items, didn't work.

I tried the electro static discharge, didn't work.

Tried the F6 and Fn + F6 to see if the touchpad was simply disabled, didn't work.

I used a usb mouse and On Screen Keyboard app to reset the windows, didn't work.

I downloaded the RefreshWindowsTool.exe from Microsoft and Downloaded the windows and reinstalled it through the tool, didn't work.

There is no solution provided by Lenovo or Microsoft or any other website.

The keyboard works in Bios Mode, it only has the problem in Windows.

I will take the Laptop back to the retailer which is MediaMarkt in germany, but until then, any idea would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Need Drivers for Keyboard and Touch Pad ideapad 100s 11IBY

I had same problem, after formating harddrive windows came without any drivers so even keyboard doesnt work, but solution is very simple. You just need to download drivers "Intel Platform Driver for Windows 10 (32-bit) - ideapad 100S-11IBY" from Lenovo website and everything will work.
