Ok my 700-15ISK Laptop (ideapad) is s great PC, but the issue is the drive configuration with Windows 10 setup leaves me wanting more space in short amount of time. I have moved my user files to the second drive and install whatever app I can to the second drive. But after time the SSD C drive runs out of space.
There has to be a better way to reinstall and customize your windows default install to have program files and users on second D drive

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can change your Windows default storage by clicking on start and choose settings.
Click on system and choose storage. Here are save locations for new apps, new documents, pictures, music, videos.
Changing manually through the registry (regedit) for the program files :
ProgramFilesDir and/or ProgramFilesDir (x86) changing value from from C:\Program Files to D:\Program Files
Hope this helps answer your query.

As there are native installers that is persistent on installing on the default C partition, registry hack as mentioned is not as stable as normal defaults setup but can be tried after backing the registry first.
Alternate option that can be use is simply to clean install the bigger drive and make it your normal OS boot and simply used the SSD for frequently access files and programs instead.
