Problems with FN key IdeaPad 120S-14IAP

Hello,

Yesterday i bought Ideapad 120S-14IAP and i have a problem with FN key. It does not work at all.  I installed Windows 10 Pro x64 , after that,  i installed all drivers from lenovo website. Windows is up to date.

I tried a usb stick with Ubuntu 16.04  and FN works perfectly.  Seems to be a driver problem.

I thought it was a fail driver. I dont know.

PS. In BIOS is enabled FN key.

Re: Problems with FN key IdeaPad 120S-14IAP

You need to install Lenovo ACPI driver as well as Lenovo Utility applicaton (the second one is require only for 3 of FN keys: microphone on/of, flight mode on/off, camera on/off).

Re: Problems with FN key IdeaPad 120S-14IAP

Hi

A very long time with this problem was carried out and yet found a solution

That the function worked, it is necessary to install Windows on new (windows 10 pro in my case), only before it, it is necessary to correct adjustments in BIOS

1. Go into the BIOS (restart the computer and press f2)

2. Go to the "Boot"

3. In the "Boot Mode" select "UEFI"

4. If installing from a USB flash drive, put USB first in priority (in my case I chose USB HDD)

5. Save the settings and start reinstalling windows

Some helped some drivers, it doesn't work for me, I installed all the drivers that were on the official site, but it didn't work, only a higher method helped, I hope, it will help you too

Sorry in advance for my English
