Hi, I have also bought Ideapad 330s 4GB version and I wanted to upgrade to 8GB by addtional 4GB. I need to know if there is additional slot in laptop to do so.

Yes, you can upgrade, but there's only 1 available slot, as you saw in the pic I posted. That is, you cannot remove the existing 4GB of RAM which is soldered to the motherboard. You can buy an additional 4GB or an 8 GB RAM to take the total memory to 8GB or 12 GB respectively.

0 soldered, add 16GB. <this is rare.
4GB soldered, add 16GB <this is showing on crucial/kingston. Not Lenovo. 20GB total.
8GB soldered, add 8 GB, total 16GB.
Any 4GB added in slot with soldered is within spec. 4+4 (stick in slot); 8 +4 (stick in slot). Thus 8/12 GB total installed.
Lenovo states 16GB max, thus notes about crucial/kingston 20GB max.

This specific model DOES come with 4GB RAM soldered.
Kindly check this link which clearly states that maximum RAM can be in the configuration of 4GB + 8 GB
