Re: Strange Boot Splash Screen after BIOS update Ideapad 310-15IKB

I am using Windows 10 Home Single Language Version 1607

Well after googling a bit, it seems that this Logo is of some chineese company Xiaoxin which actually makes Lenovo laptops, and they decided to replace the lenovo logo with their own.

I must say that this boot splash looks really weird, as if the laptop was infected with some malware.

The link you shared is NOT relevant at all.

The link you sent tells "How to change the settings for the on-screen NumLock and CapsLock indicators"

Hit Win+R and write msconfig in the run box beside the empty space beside Open. Hit Enter.

System Configuration Dialogue box opens. Press Boot tab on the top.

Check the box against No GUI and Hit Apply button in Boot options and at last Press OK.

You get a confirmation pop up up. Click Restart button.

Your computer will reboot. You will observe that your computer boots without getting any Splash Screen and swiftly.

You can again enable it by unchecking No GUI Boot in System configuration window followed by Apply and OK.

Re: Strange Boot Splash Screen after BIOS update Ideapad 310-15IKB

Ok I did as you said, but it did not make any difference. As far as I know checking No GUI Boot disables the Windows Splash screen.
Although in my case I have UEFI Boot, therefore there is no splash screen of Windows, rather it shows the OEM Splash screen that is in BIOS.

The UEFI/BIOS splash screen/ logo or is wrong. Can you please get someone on the team to look at this UEFI/BIOS like the picture on the main post it doesn't even show the Lenovo logo.

Re: Strange Boot Splash Screen after BIOS update Ideapad 310-15IKB

Due to customer reports that the expected Lenovo Logo is not being seen during boot up on Miix 310-15IKB systems after upgrading to BIOS 3JCN51WW published on Nov 16th, 2016, a corrected BIOS has been requested.

I will post again when I receive an update.
