Could you please provide the product number or P/N of your system so I can escalate a case to have the BIOS version corrected?

So I take it this is performed by accessing the Lenovo button on the side of the computer (paper clip to activate the button) and then going into the bios config and doing the backflash?

To access the BIOS settings. Do the following easy steps
1. Right click Windows Icon in corner, select Shutdown or Signout -> press and hold shift key and click restart
2. Click on Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options - > UEFI Firmware Settings -> Click Restart
3. Your laptop will restart, and goto BIOS settings
4. Enable the option for old BIOS Flash, save settings and now you will be able to flash the BIOS Amy shared
Kudo if it helps

All. Thanks for the advice. I think I will just maybe wait this out until there is a new bios update that self corrects the issue and gives me the proper boot screen. I did not buy a Lenovo to see a scary cat on booting

The BIOS you referred to is only available for the Miix 310. A corrected BIOS file has been provided.
I believe your system may be a MIIX 310 as the BIOS for the MIIX 510 is 2KCN25WW.

omernaeem, Thank you for sharing the method. It worked on my 510-15IKB and installed 3JCN23WW. The scary cat is gone now and showing colored Lenovo logo. But I like the simple black and white Lenovo logo (the previous version). Lenovo must have made a mistake with 3JCN51WW publisized, which probably was a Chinese developper's prototype or something.
