I recently had my Lenovo Ideapad 100S-14IBR serviced and there was a swap out of the motherboard and harddrive.
Before the servicing, my machine had an Elan touchpad. After the servicing, I now have a Synaptics touchpad. This is all well and good, but I have no control over customizing the scrolling and clicking of the point. I am able to open the Synaptics Control Panel, though the options for changing "Tap," "Drag & Drop," and other functionalities are not available to me to customize (i.e. they are greyed out).
I've updated the driver with the options available for my machine from the Lenovo website, and I have tried to update the driver via the files available from the Synaptics website. However, no success.
Granted, this issue is not critical when it comes to the functionality of my machine, it is quite annoying and does make typing / navigating the interface difficult. Any advice/insight would be appreciated.
