Hi snkishore ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Product specification showing :8GB max / 2133MHz DDR4, one 260-pin SO-DIMM socket
Similar to the hardware manual : DDR4-1866 MHz / 2133 MHz / 2400 MHz, SODIMM × 1 (max 8 GB) (page26)
Such would be the same as physical inspected (page 37). Reason for this is that software tools actually detects the property of the chipset and not the actual structure on the systemboard.
Similar to this discussion :
"what frequently happens with utility programs that audit the hardware is that they base their information off the chipset that is used on the motherboard "
Hope this help answer your query.

Thanks for reply. But I was sold saying that this system has 4 RAM slots by the store guy. I think this is misleading customers like me. This should be solved asap

Hi snkishore ,
You may also check it physical as shown in the manual:
You can check back with the store together with the hardware manual to inform. Other reviews here.
Laptops are known to be mobile and portable , it would be rare for this size to have additional memory slots to keep the sleekness on a small device. This is different from the ability of the chipset as shown in device manager.
Here is the Lenovo service training tool for the model as visual reference too.
