Touch Screen not working and right side of the screen flickering

2019-06-04, 2:32 AM

Hi, the right side of the screen of my Flex 6 14 keeps flickering (see video) and the touch screen is not functioning at all...

Any Ideas?

What are the most likely causes?

Does this look like something that would could be easily and affordably fixed?

Could it be an easily resolved cable issue (for example), or are we likely talking screen or motherboard replacement (as a colleague of mine suspects)...?

I ran a HW diagnostic but nothing found.

Uninstallled the Display and Human Interface Touch screen drivers, which automatically reinstalled.

I updated the BIOS

Ran several updates that I thought could be relevant but I am kinda running out of ideas...

Hi Curanthony!

Welcome to the community forums. Watching the video, this is an LCD issue. The LCD panel needs replacement.

Please contact your local Lenovo support for repair using this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/supportphonelist?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6

You may also visit the nearest Authorized Service provider using this link: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/serviceprovider
