USB-C port as Thunderbolt port??

Hello! I have Lenovo ideapad 320-15iKB, I just wanna know that can I use USB-C port as thunderbolt port?

Welcome to the Community Forums.


Ideapad 320-15IKB is not a thunderbolt but share some features as described in the hardware manual (page 28) as : Type-C
(Support USB 3.1 Gen 1, Output 5V DC, 0.9A DC) × 1. 


You cannot charge the laptop on it but you can power up your device for 5V DC .9A. It also supports data transfer from usb storages. For secondary monitor similar to this post, a USB-3.0 to HDMI adapter would help.

My ideapad 520 USB Type C port does not give 0.9 A also other USB ports Why?
