One of my USB ports has stopped working. I havce tried uninstalling and rebooting, but it is still not registering any external USB devices.

Which particular USB port is affected?
Isolating it from the connected structures may help identify the real issue specially if other ports on same side works (probable hardware issue).
Testing the ports for power using basic USB mouse for power activity can be done and using a bootable USB accessing boot manager (usually F12) to check if the boot usb is detected help in terms of data transfer/readability.

I have tested it in the BIOS reboot. It then works, but intermittantly and then only for some USB devices.
I have called my local Lenovo support office and will be booking it as it seems to be a hardware issue.
