I ordered my laptop direct from Lenovo. When it came yesterday, I turned it on and rather than getting asked to set it up with my information, it was already loaded with another person's email address (ie, someone else had already set it up). I have called twice now - once to talk to tech support, who had me do a factory restore, and once to talk to the post-sales people. They have both said the serial number shows as new, and they offered me $69 for my troubles. I'm still weirded out, especially in light of this adware issue that is plaguing Lenovo.
Should I ask for a replacement, or is a factory restore enough?

A factory restore is enough.

I sent it back. Obviously they had not sent me a new machine although they had charged me for one. I have to say, the customer service was nothing but stellar. But this issue, especially in light of the other issues plaguing Lenovo, pushed me to return the machine. I got a Toshiba instead.
