Hello Lenovo community.
I have purchased a Lenovo Ideapad 100-15ibd with :
- Intel Core i5 5200u 2.7 gHz
- 4 GB RAM
- nVidia 920m
I have already upgraded from 4 to 8 GB of RAM ( which is the highest value supported by this processor ) and now i want to upgrade 2 more things.
1. Buy a SSD.
2. Install an eGPU.
I want to install GTX 1050 TI 4GB and 128 bit on this laptop but i was not sure if this will work as good as i was thinking.
I want to know if the GTX 1050 TI 4GB 128 bit is supported by this laptop and if i can install it with that eGPU adapter which is placed in the Wi Fi place. Not thunderbolt.
Should i do this upgrade? If i shouldn't upgrade to this graphic card, there is another model better for my laptop ?
And if this thing is possible, may you give me a link from where to buy an eGPU Adapter?

Hello Dragan Mihai
Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try to check the hardware manual on the support page, that should be able to tell you if the unit can handle it with the power it has.
Hope this help you, let us know how you get on
