I contacted Lenovo technical support over a week ago saying my laptop surface lights up with a neon voltage testing screwdriver, and gave my wife a shock - only when the charger was plugged in. Lenovo seemed so concerned, and have never got back to me.
Even if it's only static I don't want it. Memory sticks etc corrupt with static.
Anyone else with this problem.

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !
Sorry to hear of the problem you have experienced. I would recommend that you discontinue using the laptop until Lenovo Support returns the call. If you are still waiting, I would recommend calling them again.

Many thanks for your reply.
I will call them again tomorrow.
I am charging the laptop up, but only using it when the charger is disconnected. It's a pain, especially if Lenovo want it returned. Surprised no field sevice engineers out there.
I cannot give enough praise to Samsung for their home visits to my laser printer.
Will see what happens
