I opened a service ticket. They said I sould wait for a reply. Now, about 3 weeks after that, the ticket seems to be closed.
They uploaded 4 new drivers, but they don't correct the problems...

What do you mean?
You mean, when you open the case, disconnect the battery and work with just the power supply?
That would mean the battery has something to do with it, but it's still not really helpful, is it?

I'm just saying that the problem is the battery. After disconnecting the battery and power supply work at the keyboard and touchpad are working properly.
My English is poor. Maybe some of you report it to lenvo?

I have been offered this solution by the service team:
Have not tried it yet.

Did you try it?
I just downloaded the software and am setting up to try it.
Do you think a replacement battery might cure it?
I always thought it was a software problem (drivers), but might it actually be a hardware thing?

Yes - I did calibrate the battery. The touchpad is still choppy, and the keyboard is lost letters.
This may be a hardware problem with the battery. I wonder if the same problem to a non-genuine replacement battery.
