ideapad 720s displayport

I try to connect VGA monitor to a DisplayPort but the monitor doesn't show anything.

Windows 10 tell me no monitor detected.

I change the adapter with a new one but the result is the same.

I tried also with my tv (VGA port) but it doesn't work.

What can I do?

Re: ideapad 720s displayport

Hello michela,

Welcome to the Lenovo Community Forums. Assuming that you are using an displayport vga adapter this should be automatically detected. So since you have tried on another display it could be a problem with the adapter.

Yes, I use a VGA adapter and I change it with a new one .... but still not working!
How can I verify if there is a hardware problem with the port? the notebook is new ....
Is there some missimg configuration to do?

thanks!
