i have 3 problems with my lenovo ideapad510 which im dying to solve
1- my f2 and f3 buttons arent working, i investigated in the issue and turns out its the intel hd graphics driver thats causing the issue, once i disable it the buttons work fine but the laptop gets a bit laggy, so is there anyway i can fix this, like an older driver or something because i cant find one on the lenovo drivers for my model
2- my fan is super loud at some points, like really loud, even tho this laptop is just 1 years old but when it turn on or run an app it gets really loud then settles down a bit
3- i keep getting a error on the event viewer that says my processor speed is being limited by system firmware for pretty much all my processors, which im noticing because the boot is awfully slow, any fix for this? i have all drivers updated similar to my bios
thank you all

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Have a go at performing a factory reset next, this would rule out software issue with the unit.
If the issue persists, then it means there is a hardware at fault causing the issue.
Note: Please back up all your data as running this reset will delete any data on your machine
1. Turn the machine off and press the recovery button which is located usually next to the power button. On a desktop machine you will need to power the machine back on and keep tapping the F2 key.
2. Use the arrow keys and press enter on system recovery. ( Desktop users can skip this)
3. Select “restore from the initial backup” and then “Next”.
4. Click “start” and accept the warning messages.
Length of time can vary depending on the speed of the machine.
If these steps do not work I would recommend, that you call your local Lenovo support line for a possible service. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

thank you for the reply
i did a clean installation and the f2/f3 buttons are working same for everything else thank y ou
but whenever the windows has an update, the fans gets louder kernel processor warning pops up again and it takes ages for it to boot then complete the update .... which is really annoying because it happens on every system update, as if its a method to force you to system update, literally on every update, be it nvidia graphics update, windows security or anything.... processors slow down, fan gets loud and errors pop up everywhere till i update
thank you again
