Hi ,
This issue can happen when you are using a Microsoft Account to log into your Windows 10 PC and you have reset the password online on your Microsoft account but forgotten to make the change on your PC. You may receive this message if you inadvertently typed the wrong password in the box. It can also happen after installing Windows 10 Updates.
Here are a few things you can try to recover your Windows PC:
- If your device is set to automatically connect to Wi-Fi, ensure that it is properly connected to the Internet or Network and restart it
- Check if your password is correct and then enter it carefully. Make sure that your Caps Lock is not On
Since you already tried resetting the password , and still you can't login, The best thing you can do is log into the Safe Mode:
- Restart your computer while holding the Shift button
- The Advanced Startup menu will open in the boot. Go to Troubleshoot
- Go to Advanced Options > Startup Settings
- Click the Restart button
- Press 5 or F5 on your keyboard to choose Enable Safe Mode with Networking
- Once you're in Safe Mode, try to login again with the same password
After doing the steps above and you still can't login, you may need to perform a System Recovery:
- Locate and press the NOVO Button
- In the NOVO Button menu, select System Recovery > Advanced Options > System Restore
- Inside System Restore, select a Restore Point prior to having the issue
- Once done , computer will perform restore process and may take several minutes
Give us an update on how it goes.
Regards
