2016-10-09, 19:16 PM

Hi,  I am running 3.2.12.30116 and would like to know what the latest version that this device will support and what steps I need to get there if there are any interim patches I have to apply.

Thanks in advance.

Hello royswift,

The latest firmware for your ix4-200d CE is v3.2.14.30167 and can be downloaded here.

You can upgrade to this latest version without any interim patches from your current firmware.

Hello....

I would greatly appreciate some help!  Is there anyone that could get me the latest version of firmware for the Iomega ix4-200d.  I finally got around to reviving my NAS to use soley for an ESX Lab and backup purposes.  My current version of firmware is 3.2.10.30101.  I understand there is absolutely no support whatsoever for this product, but if I could simply get on the latest version of firmware, maybe i could get a little more use out of this product!

Thank you.

I finally found a valid link to the latest firmware for the IX4-200d Cloud Edition: The last EOL firmware was version 3.2.14.30167. The last StorCenter Manager software version was 1.4.14.34018 http://download.lenovo.com/lenovoemc/na/en/app/answers/detail/a_id/26784.html

Hi,

thanks for sharing the firmware link!

1. Would you have the link where the hds are approved for use on the NAS? Currently i use hd hitachi and in some posts inform on the NAS not to initialize if install hd of another brand (example seagate).

2. my equipment is ok, but would you know how to reinstall the software if i have a more serious problem in the future?

best regards

Good news, even if the IX4-200d is now in EOL since October 15th, 2015, the link above bring you to a new firmware release 3.2.16.30221 that was release on April 24th, 2019.

My IX4-200d was at the latest firmware release in October 2015.

It is not a Cloud Edition (CE).

I have an ix4-200d (not cloud edition). What is the latest firmware available and can I still get it? I am also getting a new error. My browser is warning me that TLS 1.x will no longer be supported in the near future. Is there a workaround? I hate to pitch a fully functional and still useful device.

==UPDATE 2020-March-12 09:06 Eastern time==

I have found firmware version 2.1.50.30227 and I am attempting to install it.

Could you please send me the link to this firmware update. The newest I have found it from 8-2018. I would love to get my NAS up an running again, as I have one on the list that has the data leak bug, and I have not been able to find the patch for it. And I don't think Lenovo has plans to fix that on these Dinosaurs. Thanks in advance.

Hi Scorpion2k20

There are two versions of the ix4-200d:

  1. The ix4-200d - If nothing else specified, it's the NON-CE (as in NON- Cloud Edition) version
    • The last firmware update version is currently 2.1.50.30227 and can be found here.

  2. the ix4-200d CE or Cloud Edition
    • The last firmware update version is currently 3.2.16.30221 and can be found here.

Hope it helps
