Iomega StorCenter ix2

2016-09-10, 19:10 PM

Hello,

I wonder whether anyone at Lenovo could assist me please?  I have two identical iOmega StorCenter ix2 drives which I have backed up all my DVDs onto as ISO files.  Each of these drives is connected via Ethernet to my BT home hub. The Home Hub is connected via Ethernet to a Powerline adapter which in turn is connected to a WD media player which is plugged into my TV via HMDI.  One drive streams perfectly, however the other drive doesn't. The folder that all my backs up are in "Backups" does not even show up on the TV stream.  I have checked all the files via the PC view and they are all there, so I know the drive is fine.  Please could someone advise show I may resolve this?  Many thanks! PS I have renewed all the Ethernet cables so these are OK!

Kind Regards,

Tim

Hello tburchell,

What happens if you disconnect the one that doesn't seem to have any issues?

How does the other NAS run then?

You might want to contact main support and request that some diagnostics be run on the slower machine:
