Not accessing the NAS through network

2016-09-08, 8:28 AM

Hi,

I have a Iomega Store Center ix2-200 NAS which is not accessing. Means neither i have accessing the NAS volume nor i have access the device through Iomega Storage manager. And it is not pinging also . After switch on the device the power LED is continiously glowing and sometimes the HDD LED(Blue) is blinking.

Please help me out to resolve this issue, we have a valuable data with it.

Regards

Assuming you were running a RAID 1, you can try booting from each drive by itself.

If it boots/allows access from one drive and not the other, you will need to replace the drive that it does not boot from.

If it will not boot/allow access from either drive, you will need to contact main support:

Are you certain that you have the correct IP address for the NAS?

You can verify by entering "arp -a" in command prompt and looking for a device on your network who's physical (MAC) address begins with "00 : D0 : B8".
