Device Registration failed. Please try again.

Lost wifi connection. Tried to reset. The smart frame reconnects but will not connect to smart frame app due to authorization failure

Hi @Tom1123 ,

If you tried performing a factory reset and it didn't help, you can try to reinstall the Smart Frame app on your phone, do the factory reset again and start the pairing from scratch. Let me know if it helps.

Same program here: Device was not recognized by the app.  Reset it to factory config.  Went through the process only see "device registration failed" regardless of how many  times retrying.

 

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  Same problem.  At this stage, it it not possible to perform factory reset on the device since it cannot pass beyond the "device registration ailed" message.

 

What to do next?

Having the same issue!

 

"Device registration failed. Please try again." On my mobile device, but the smart frame says Connected!

 

As soon as i click cancel, the smart frame goes back to default screen

 

I dunno what to do anymore. This thing came straight out of the box and didn't work.

Even though the "device registration failed" issue was resolved, I want to raise another issue.

 

The smart frame quickly becomes not recognizable by the app after the factory reset.  This was the problem causing me to do a factory reset in the first place.

 

Why the smart frame is so easily disassociated from the app?  Factory reset is a pain since one has to redo the configuration all over again every time.

 

This issue has become a serious problem.  Please look into this and implement a fix.  Thank you!
