It started working for me yesterday morning. I’m in the US, if that give any more info... there seem to be many users here from Australia.

same here, started working again yesterday. this happens from time to time, found its best just to let everything be and eventually the app starts working again.

Yeah, the Lenovo link came back to the google app store, and my bulb works again. I'm in the US.

Looks like lenovo is a really bad smart plug I had same problem after about a week and update and delete the app then redownload but still don’t work and it’s been three days   They not doing anything about it

It’s been the same for the life of the products. Intermittently work, some products never worked, and zero support. 

I’ll never buy Lenovo branded again honestly.

I replaced all my lenovo smart devices with Sengled. Best $$$ I ever spent.

I switch to using the SmartLife app.. Haven't looked back.. Still use the lenovo smart bulb & plugs and haven't had any real issues.. Plus you can use other products with the smartlife app. Hope this helps

This doesn't work if you live and bought your Lenovo bulbs and plugs in the USA. The firmware won't or is incapable of updating to a version that supports SmartLife (or Lenovo Link Pro.) I guess they're a different product that Lenovo is loathe to support anymore because even when I try to input the serial number for my bulbs on this website, they are not recognized.

 

The last time this happened a couple of months ago (Hi @Sot2 !) it was fixed in a few days, but this time it has been longer.

It took 4 weeks to fix the issue in August 2021 to be exact, I wouldn't call it a few days...

 

Just for fun, I summarized below every time I had an issue and contacted Lenovo just last year: I have contacted Lenovo 5 times over the past 16 months. 

June 2020

October 2020

November 2020 - January 2021

August 2021

October 2021

 

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to resolve this issue of not being able to remotely control the smart plugs.

 

I have to admit, Lenovo, you are very unpopular with my wife, sorry. 

 

I hope that Lenovo support will be able to tell us why this is happening that often.  @Lorenzo_Lenovo
