Is there documentation/SDK for the smart plug/bulb?

Hi,

I want to be able to control my smart bulb/plug from within an application of mine.

Is there a Web API interface for it? or an SDK?

Is there any technical documentation on how to control it?

Thanks

Hi @gwpt!

Welcome to Community Forums!

You can download the Lenovo Link app from Google Market/Playstore and Apple Store from your smartphone device to control the Lenovo Smart Bulb/Plug.

You can also refer to this link to see/read more FAQs about the Lenovo Smart Bulb/Plug device.

Hope this answers all of your concerns. Thanks!

Re: Is there documentation/SDK for the smart plug/bulb?

Hi,

thanks for the reply. Sadly thought the info you provided isn't what I was after.

I was looking for information similar to this: (this is what Lifx and Hue offer to developers)

https://api.developer.lifx.com/

https://developers.meethue.com/explore/why-develop-for-hue/

This allows programmers to control the lights.

Is something like this available?

Thanks

Guy

@gwpt

Lenovo Smart Plug/Bulb can be only controlled as of this moment through the Lenovo Link app.

I do understand that you wanted to have a different approach on how you can control it on your end through a different method, the info/resolution that you may need may not be available as of this moment.

You can also check this link to see more details about Lenovo Link app and you may also visit our website for future news/annoucements.

Thanks!
