How to lower Y540 GPU throttling temperature

I bought an Y540 laptop, and it worked fine for some time, while I did not really put strain on its GPU.

However, I recently started running some machine learning trainings on it, which require it to keep working for long times without rest periods.

The issue is that the sustained 95°C CPU, 87°C GPU temperature seemingly didn't do it well and less than two days after, it stopped working (Nothing turning on except power LED). It was replaced through warranty, but I'd prefer playing it safe in case it had to do with the temperature, and in addition, the noise of the fan is not really pleasant https://xender.vip/  .

Therefore, I have started looking at ways to limit the GPU's temperature (CPU one has been handled easily). The issue is that I was unsuccessful: MSI AfterBurner does not allow setting the temperature threshold or power limit (grayed out), and although manipulating the memory clock setting indeed lowered its frequency, lowering the core clock one did not work (even at -500MHz, so with the turbo boost arrow showing 740MHz, the GPU is idling at 900MHz, with spikes in the 1300).

I could technically make the GPU rest for a while between each processing, but keeping it at 80°C requires me to make it work 10x slower, so it's not a good solution https://omegle.onl/  .

Do anyone know of a way to limit the power usage of the GPU on this model?

Thanks in advance.
