Z570 - WiFi not working

WiFi not working after doing a clean installation on the Z570. WLAN driver has been installed however problem persist.

You would need to update your BIOS.

Note that it's recommended reboot your laptop before flashing the BIOS.

Once the BIOS has been updated download the latest WLAN drivers.

Z570 Driver download site.

I have a Lenovo Z50 laptop runnig Windows 8.

I have trouble with the wireless.

When I connect the internet cable it is fine but I cannot get a wireless.

Our wireless modem is fine as we are picking it up on 2 other laptops.

The wireless thingy is an Intel (R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160.

I have checked the device driver and it is the latest.

The computer says it is working fine...problem is, it doesn't work.

Any ideas ?

>Press the Esc. key.
>go back to your Windows 8 start screen - Swipe from left or press Window Button

Sorry I am posting here a WiFi Ideapad S10-3 issue, figured out too late how to post in the Lenovo U and S Series Notebooks place :-(

WiFi not working, while F5 functioning OK and indicating ON, I have the wifi light indicator ON, but no networks are found (there are a few networks seen on the other laptop).

I think this happened after trying to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10, and then going back to Win 7 (10 not supported).
Any ideas will be much appriciated!

Many Thanks,
