I can confirm that for my Ideapad Y710 (with the gamming pad on the right) the solution

http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.id=ideaPad&thread.id=5072

works!

real good!

even the NOVO buttom to change profiles....

I'll now monitor the battery life and see how it goes.

For now, a looks like a fully charged battery, with the max savings profile will live 2h, way longer than my previous expirience...

thank you again,

.Sergio

Sergio, welcome to the forum,

it would help if you could post which IdeaPad you have as the drivers may differ between models.

Thanks

Andy

Hello!

Have you found a driver for ACPI\VPC2004?

I have the same problem. My notebook is Lenovo 3000 g410m-mm.

no, unfortunately not yet...

this notebook is wonderful, but driver support for 64 bits sucks....

my baterry is gone in 60 minutes, has to be this driver (or the lack of it)...

Thanks sibagy for your reply!

My Lenovo goes to the Hibernation about a minute - too much time, also.

Dmitry
