That is the correction. And you have to read from the beginning to really understand. If not, you will get lost.

I can't understand the meaning of Step K states
" Remove the newly partitioned X TB/GB HDD from the external enclosure and install it to the intended laptop.". Instead it should be "Remove the external enclosure and install it to the intended laptop."

Could you please simplify the meaning

That portion has been revised in version 2.2. See the picture below. But your suggestion is also correct.

Re: Z500 Touch Hdd Replacement Guide with OKR 8.0 Functionality Revsion 2.2

i am depressed about OKR 8.0
i am now using windows 7 case i can't use my backup recovery image

i think the image you posted to me is optional !
E. install the new unformatted X Tb/GB HDD !!
why ?
that's not logic as my HDD is already formatted !
is there any other solution ?

i have another suggestion
-after perform step 3D to step 3I
-boot any windows in C partiton that is created
-after windows run, install the OKR 8.0 drive and go to (D:\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\..)
-put the backup recovery image files on it
-than try the function of OKR
Do you think it would work ?

Answer: That is an option for those who have a new unformatted hdd and who would want to create the partitions in another laptop or desktop.
However, if your drive is already formatted that's alright. The Partition creator program will just erase the partition and will create the OKR partitions. That is regardless whether your hdd is formatted or not it actually does'nt matter.

Answer: After installing Windows, do you mean install the Windows OKR program? If yes, that could be possible but I have not tried it.

LenBlazer,

1. You said "That is an option for those who have a new unformatted hdd"
My HDD is unformatted, but when use EVOZI guide, it formated whole the HDD before repartioning as i think !
So why there are an optional for those how have unformatted X TB/GB HDD ?

2. How i can do this step
I. Boot up the laptop/desktop and run EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition. Check if the partitions created are hidden expected are hidden expected windows 8_os and Lenovo(X), if there are unhidden ones hide them.
No OS, how can i run EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition ?

3. last thing
When running the OKR 8.0 and choose "System restore"
the function of OKR Go to (D:\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\..) and use this files or boot from the hidden 20 GB partition ?

Thanks in advance

Answer:  That is an option for those who have a new unformatted hdd and those who would want to create the partitions in another laptop or desktop. Perhaps I should remove the word "unformatted" because it does not matter as explained earlier.

2. How i can do this step
I. Boot up the laptop/desktop and run EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition. Check if the partitions created are hidden expected are hidden expected windows 8_os and Lenovo(X), if there are unhidden ones hide them.

Answer: Expect that Win 8_OS and Lenovo(x) partitions are not hidden. The rest are hidden. To use EaseUs Partition Master Home Edition you can go to their website. They have an excelent tutorial. Remember this is supposed to be in a laptop or desktop with EaseUs program. The laptop or desktop is supposed to be running with their corresponding OS.

3. last thing
When running the OKR 8.0 and choose "System restore"
the function of OKR Go to (D:\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\..) and use this files or boot from the hidden 20 GB partition ?

Answer: When you click System Restore you will be presented with a menu with options to change or choose the location of your OKR backup image. D:\Lenovo\OneKey App\OneKey Recovery\.. is the default and normally is hidden. Although its hidden OKR is able to detect it. If you have the backup image files in the default location, just proceed with the restore process without doing anything to the location.
