Re:Charging pin and cable is heating up unnaturally- Y540

I've gone through 5 chargers, each which lasts about 1.5 months. Finally got the motherboard replaced and it's been 2 months with no problems so far.

The official service center believes it is due to the charger. They will give me a new one under warranty for chargers since I bought a new one 6 months ago. They told me that "Y series" never had problems with the charging port on MBO.

The cool thing about this charger is that price is around 150USD in Europe. So convenient.

Update:

I have received new charger that worked normally for last 3 weeks. Now it is also losing connection. Temperature of charging port is around 50¨C. I will take laptop to service center and ask them to change charging port on MBO. This is annoying on laptop that costs 1600 USD under 2 yo.

It's been about 5 months since I've had the motherboard replaced and so far I've not had any problems yet
