Extract factory reset image to a flash drive?

2014-03-26, 6:00 AM

Well, I want to extract my factory reset image and stick in on a flash drive, if that would be possible. I would like to do this so I can install Windows 8.1 using an ISO from Microsoft as opposed to using the factory image (I know I will have to use a BIOS key-code extractor to get the product key and all...right?). Also, would doing this void my warranty? I would like to do an install that will not have any of the Lenovo bloatware on it (and, I don't want to manually remove it all).

Is this a wise idea? Or should I just do factory resets and manually remove all the crap?

You can do the reset and use a third party program to remove the bloatware.
