IdeaPad Z585 Bootable from SDHC?

2015-11-20, 21:05 PM

I purchased a full-size SDHC card instead of a micro SDHC card.  Since I will have to get around to upgrading to Win8.1/10, can I use this card the same as any USB flash drive and create a bootable Windows disk?

My boot prefernces include "USB CD" and "USB FDD".  I'm assuming that a regular USB flash drive would boot using the "USB FDD" option since there is no "USB Flash" in the boot menu, so any removeable USB medium should work.

Is this correct?
